Graduation Day
 
 

Kindergarten Graduation Day is a momentous occasion for the students as it provides them a sense of accomplishment and pride.

The Mukat Trust International School celebrated Graduation Day for the Tiny Tots on March 25, 2023. The event began with the welcome of the parents followed by traditional lamp lighting ceremony and stupendous dance performances by the students.

Mrs Tapinder Kaur, Trustee, Mukat Education Trust, honoured the students with the degrees and congratulated them for the same. Principal, Mrs Sonia Sharma shared a heartfelt message with the parents and the students and reminded them to rejoice each moment in their journey ahead. It was indeed a joyous day for everyone present as the parents were really proud to see the kids clad in their Graduation robes and caps and receiving their degrees from the dignitaries.

    

 
 
 
 
Seminar
 
Students of The Mukat Trust International School attended a live session on 'Artificial Intelligence In Careers-Future Skills and Work ' by Smitha Kumaran who commands brilliant
 
expertise in artificial intelligence.It was an interactive session for the students wherein the students shared their own ideas and thoughts in the field of artificial intelligence.
 
The students were provided an insight into the use of artificial intelligence and the benefits of it in the future.
 
   

Republic Day Celebration
 
Republic Day is not just a day of celebration but also a day of veneration and remembrance as on this day in 1950, Our Country's Constitution was implemented.
 
MTIS celebrated Republic Day with great delight. The flag was unfurled followed by a special assembly.
 
The special assembly included patriotic poems and some enthralling dance performances which left the audience awe-struck.
 
The Principal, Ms Sonia Sharma addressed the students and shared her views with them.
 

Basant Panchami Celebration
 
*Basant Panchami, also called Saraswati Puja in honor of the Hindu goddess Saraswati, is a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring.
 
The festival is celebrated in Indian religions in different ways depending on the region."
 
Students of kindergarten at MTIS were involved in the Basant Panchmi celebration to seek the blessing of Maa Saraswati accompanied with various activities like kite flying,
 
and kite painting .Students were disturbed yellow rice as prasad.
 
Students enjoyed the celebration to the fullest.
 

Christmas celebration
 
The festival of Christmas brings joy, love and hope.
 
We, at MTIS, celebrated Christmas with fervour and passion. Various Christmas carols were sung and our tiny tots, dressed up in the festive attires, danced to the Christmas tunes. Santa danced with the students and distributed the goodies amongst them.
 
Various stalls were set up for the kids wherein different games were played and enjoyed. The celebration left everyone in complete joy.
 
 

 
Annual Event
 
*Annual Event is the most important day for any school as it is a day of celebration and achievements, a day of felicitation and gratitude.*
 
The Mukat Trust International School celebrated its Annual Event on November 26, 2022 with utmost enthusiasm. The event began with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The event entitled *PANORAMA* included a series of thematic performances such as folk dances, Play and much more. Mrs Amrit Kaur Gill, IAS, Managing Director, PUNSUP had kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the occasion. The esteemed members of the management graced the occasion with their presence. Mrs Sonia Sharma, Principal, MTIS presented the Annual Report which showcased the achievements of the school.
 
The Kindergarten students stole everyone's heart with their admirable performances. The folk dances of various states were presented with immense grace. The school choir enthralled the audience with their melodious voices. The dynamic Taekwondo Act left the gatherers astounded. The final performance of the day, the Grand Finale, was adored by everyone. The Event ended upon a joyous note and left everyone in complete glee.
 

 
Children's Day
 
Every child is a different kind of flower and all together makes this world a beautiful garden MTIS celebrated Children's day with a lot of fun and excitement. The celebration marked the performance of certain cultural programmes which included group songs and group dances. The members of the management were also a part of the celebration and graced the occasion with their presence. They appreciated the efforts put up by the students and congratulated them for their great work.
 
Various activities such as exchange of Children's day cards and badges amongst various grades were organised for the MTIS students which were enjoyed thoroughly by everyone.
 
This celebration also commemorated the birth anniversary of the beloved founder of Mukat Education Trust ,Sardar Rajinder Singh Ahluwalia Ji--an eminent industrialist, educationist and philanthropist of the highest order, his life is a shining example of how we can overcome all odds to achieve our dreams and become a beacon of inspiration for all around us.
The event concluded with immense joy, enthusiasm and happiness.

 


Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Parkash Utsav

The auspicious occasion of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Parkash Utsav was celebrated at MTIS by holding a special assembly.

The students shared various anecdotes from Guru Ji's life and recited shabad. The religious ceremony filled the atmosphere with utmost positivity.

 


Inter- House Competition

Chess Training and Practice offers various benefits such as developing cognitive brain functions such as problem solving, critical thinking and pattern recognition.
An Inter-House Chess Competition was held at MTIS for the students of Grade I to VIII.
 
The results for the same are as follows:

Second Position - Archit(Aqua House-Grade III)
 
Third Position -Bhavik(Ventus House-Grade VI)

Seminars for students
 
Seminars and Workshops not only provide knowledge to the students directly from industry experts but also boost their morale.
 
A seminar on 'Public Speaking' was organised at MTIS wherein Mr Puneet, an educationist from Mumbai interacted with the students and discussed ways and techniques to enhance Public Speaking Skills.
 
 

 
Kickboxing and Skating Competition
 
It is a matter of pride for Mukat Trust International School, Rajpura that our students brought laurels to the school by securing various positions in varied sports events.
 
For Kickboxing held at District Level, Kanchan from Grade VIII and Yogita from Grade VI won silver medals.
 
For Roller Skating held at District Level, Rudraksh from Grade VI won bronze medal.
 
At Zonal Level, the Girls' basketball team has secured the third Position.
 
For Roller Skating held at Zonal Level, Vayam Tondon and Simarjeet Singh from Grade IV secured the first position. The second position was secured by Archit from Grade III for the same. The third position for the same was secured by Tanish from Grade III.
 
Principal, Ms Sonia Sharma congratulated the students and appreciated them for their tireless efforts.
 

World student's Day 
 
MTIS celebrated *World Students' Day* which also marks the birth anniversary of *Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam-The Missile Man of India*
 
The assembly began with students narrating some inspiring anecdotes from Dr Kalam's life which motivated everyone present to be a better human being before anything. The teachers of MTIS also shared their feelings and emotions with the students on the occasion of World Students' Day. Principal, Ms Sonia Sharma wished the students on this special day and shared her valuable thoughts with them.
 
 

Wellness Education
 
Puberty Education Programs are an essential part of school education system as they not only provide crucial knowledge to growing children but also help them accept the emotional, physical and mental changes they experience with positive outcomes.
 
At MTIS, we understand that growing children need utmost guidance at this critical age. Therefore, a special session was organised for girls telling them more about puberty and hormonal changes they experience at this age. We want our children to experience a healthy puberty which is only possible by providing education to them about the same.
 

Gandhi Jayanti
 
*Before we celebrate the freedom, we shouldn't forget to remember those who laid down their lives for us.*
 
To pay a tribute to one of the most legendary and revered leaders, MTIS celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on October 1, 2022.
 
A special assembly was conducted by the students of MTIS which included some wonderful speeches, poetries and a quiz session to make students acquainted about some facts related to our Mahatma.
 
 

Adventure Camp -Kindergarten
 
To help students connect with the real world and to bring learning to life, MTIS planned an *In-House Adventure Camp* for the students of Kindergarten as well as Grade I and II. It was a *Learning cum adventure Program* which included various adventure activities like Zipline, Roller, Trampoline and many more. A magic show and DJ was also organised for the students along with a Dome-shaped Planetarium related to astronomy.
 
The students enjoyed to the fullest and had a rejuvenating experience.
 
MTIS ensures that it will come up with such ventures in future as well as such activities not only provide an opportunity to the kids to develop their bonds with their peers but also broaden their horizons at the same time.
 
 

 Navratri Celebration
 
During the auspicious days of Navratri and with the blessings of Goddess Dhurga, Today at MTIS, Kindergarten students celebrated Navaratri with a lot of activities like dandiya dance, understanding the festivals and importance of Navratri.
 
Students were delighted with the yummy prasad by the school.

एम टी आई एस में विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया। इस विशेष सभा में विद्यालय के छात्रों ने भाषण, कविता और गीतों का भव्य मंचन किया। छात्रों ने बड़े ही उत्साह के साथ इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती सोनिया ने बच्चों की प्रशंसा की और उन्हें शाबाशी दी।
 
 

Grandparent's Day
 
MTIS celebrated 'Grandparents' Day' on Sep 10, 2022 to make our Grandparents feel extremely special and to return them a bit of love and reverence they shower upon us.
 
The proceedings began with welcoming of the Grandparents by the MTIS family followed by various stupendous performances by the teachers as well as the tiny tots.
 
Principal, Mrs Sonia Sharma congratulated the guests on their special day and honoured them with prizes for their contribution in fun games and other activities organised by MTIS.
 
'A High Tea Party' was also organised for the Grandparents by the school. Everyone enjoyed the event to the most and MTIS looks forward to many such celebrations in future as well.
 

Origami Activity
 
To help students learn something out of the books and to improve their motor skills and for brain development, *Origami Activity* was conducted for the students of Grade I to VIII at MTIS

The students participated actively and came up with amazing 2D and 3D figures.

The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and it helped them learn new things at the same time.

 

Teacher's Day Celebration

A fun excursion to 'Indus Valley Adventure Park' was organised for the teachers of MTIS on September 5, 2022 to celebrate Teachers' Day.

Our teachers enjoyed to the fullest and had a great time by indulging themselves in various fun and adventure activities.

We care for our teachers' well-being and happiness as they are the backbone of our education system.


SOF Olympiad Achievements
 
We are immensely glad to announce that the students of MTIS have received accolades by performing excellently and securing incredible ranks in SOF Olympiad.
 
Viaan Vashisht, a student of Grade-V has not only secured an International rank-I for one of the subjects but has also made us proud by securing various Zonal ranks for other subjects, cash prizes and gold medals.
 
Similarly, Kia Vashisht from Grade III and Sukhmanpreet Singh from Grade VIII brought laurels to the school by securing amazing ranks at Zonal Level, cash prizes and gold medals.
 
Ms Sonia Sharma, Principal, MTIS, congratulated the students and motivated them to continue their flawless hard work and achieve new landmarks in future. Many many congratulations to all the students for their achievements and best wishes for their future endeavours.
 
 

Spell Bee Competition - Inter House

To inculcate amongst the students the skills of pronunciation, word building and sentence formation, an *Inter-House Spell Bee Competition* was held at The Mukat Trust International School on September 1, 2022.
 
On September 3, 2022, the results were declared for the same.
 
Principal, Ms Sonia Sharma, honoured the students with the certificates and congratulated them for their achievements.
 

Teacher's Day -Special Assembly
 
A Teacher is one who shows you where to look but doesn't tell you what to see.
 
Teacher is a Guru, a mentor, a guide and a friend. A Teacher nurtures the naive child with his knowledge, love and experiences and turns the child into a responsible human being.
 
To celebrate the deep devotion of the teachers towards their students and to return them a bit of love, reverence and care they shower upon them, the students of MTIS conducted a special assembly today.
 
The students came up with various poetries based on the same theme and some heart touching Thank you notes for their Teachers. In order to add an element of fun, the students also prepared a small skit in which they imitated the gestures of their favourite teachers.
 
The Principal, Ms Sonia Sharma shared her valuable thoughts with the students and congratulated the Teachers on the special occasion. Overall, it was a memorable day for the MTIS family.
 

Splash Pool 
 
Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly this year. The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.
 
Kindergarten students started their beautiful day of autumn with a lot of excitement and energy.
 
Kids had a peaceful *Nature walk* in the morning bliss by learning and observing the value of this month's theme "Sharing and caring".
 
As a farewell to summer, kids played in the splash pool and enjoyed to their utmost with a lot of delicious pot lunch, snacks.
 
 

Spell Bell Competition
 
To foster the skills of word building, pronunciation and sentence construction, *Inter House Spell Bee Competition* was held for Grade I to IV at MTIS.
 
The results for the same are as follows:
 
The first position was secured by *Aqua House.* The participants from Aqua House were *Ishmeet, Jasmeen, Jivika and Sehajdeep.*
 
The second position was secured by *Terra House.* The participants from Terra House were *Vayam, Pratyaksh,Jasmine and Harsirat.*
 
The third position was secured by *Ignis House.* The participants for the same were *Gursehaj, Mehveen, Arunjeet and Abhijot.*
 
The Principal, Mrs Sonia Sharma congratulated the participants and encouraged them to achieve greater heights in future as well. Overall, the event concluded with utmost joy and splendour.
 

Weekly Activity - MTIS Market (Kindergarten)
 
*Shopping makes you feel good. Research shows how shopping activates key areas of the brain, boosting our mood and making us feel better*
 
As part of this month's theme *Neighbourhood*, we had this week’s *Friday activity*," TO MARKET, TO MARKET "where students were introduced to the world of shopping and the process of buying.
 
New words regarding the theme and roleplay of the buyer and seller were also done. Kids enjoyed their activity to the best.
 

Janamashtmi Celebration
 
*Janamashtmi marks the birth of Lord Krishna on this planet; the reincarnation of God to end evil and spread spirituality.*
 
To celebrate the auspicious occasion of Janamashtami, MTIS held a special assembly. The students were made acquainted with the importance of the festival and the MTIS stars came up with some eye-catching performances.
