Annual Function - SYMPHONY 2023
The Mukat Trust International School,celebrated its Annual Function, "Symphony," with great pomp and grandeur. The event, held on 06 December 2023, was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms.Jasleen Kaur Bhullar, SDM Rajpura, as the Chief Guest.

Halloween Celebration
Halloween, a global festival, was celebrated with much fun and excitement at the campus of the Mukat Trust International School. The students of Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2 came dressed up in various costumes to celebrate the spirit of Halloween. Students carried out a spooky parade and enjoyed scary fun-filled activities.
There was music, spooky decor and the entire school was decked up with Halloween themed decorations.
Such events help students pursue education in a fun-filled manner and encourage them to appreciate the differences in culture and make them aware of a global festival.

Rocksport Adventure Camp - School trip (Grade III- VI)
Our young explorers from grades 2 to 6 just had an unforgettable adventure at the RockSport Adventure Camp!

Kargil Vijay Diwas - Special Assembly
On 26 July 2023, MTIS held a heartfelt and poignant special assembly on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas – a day of great significance for every Indian. The assembly was a solemn and meaningful tribute to the heroes who valiantly fought during the Kargil War of 1999 and reclaimed our nation's honor.
Throughout the assembly, there was a prevailing atmosphere of reverence and patriotism. The students, in their own creative and passionate way, showcased their respect and appreciation for our soldiers through heartwarming speech, deeply moving dance performance and patriotic songs. These performances brought out the essence of courage, unity, and love for the country.

Weekly Activity
After a relaxing vacation with the spirits held high, MTIS reopened after the summer break. Children walked into the campus for their journey towards joyous learning with bright and cheerful faces. Meeting their friends and having exciting discussions added fuel to their energies for a sparkling start.

On May 31, 2023, students of MTIS experienced some wonderful moments on the last day before their summer vacation. The day began with an extraordinary *Magic show* followed by fun games for all the students. Then students had gala time singing and dancing to the beats of their favorite tracks. They also enjoyed watching their favorite animated movies. It was a day filled with fun and laughter. Children were seen bubbling with joy and enthusiasm as they had a great day.
Investiture ceremony
"An investiture ceremony is a momentous occasion that symbolizes the bestowing of authority and responsibility upon student leaders".
This year, The Mukat Trust International School held a grand investiture ceremony to acknowledge the outstanding qualities and capabilities of its student leader on *29 May 2023*.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival and lamp lighting by our beloved Principal Ms Sonia Sharma. The highlight of the ceremony was the formal inauguration of the student council. The incoming student leaders, who had been carefully selected through a rigorous process, were called upon the stage one by one. They were adorned with badges and sashes that represented their respective positions of authority. The ceremony was enriched with various harmonious performances like shabad and graceful dance.
Principal Ms. Sonia Sharma addressed the students and emphasized the qualities of leadership, integrity, and dedication expected from the student council members. . Overall, it was a spectacular event at MTIS family.
Mother's Day Celebration
"A mother understands what a child doesn't even say."
Such is a bond that a mother and child share. A mother acts like a mentor, nurse, guide, teacher, and whatnot for her child.
To celebrate the love and warmth existing in this special bond, MTIS celebrated Mother's Day on May 13, 2023, through a special assembly where the students performed various meaningful dances and acts. Students made the assembly more aesthetic with Poems for mothers and presenting tokens of love to all their teachers also.
The students from Grades I to IX made beautiful cards and badges and wrote letters for their mothers. This was a small tribute from our MTIS kiddos to celebrate the unconditional devotion of their supermoms toward them.
Mother's Day Celebration - Kindergarten
A mother's love is the fuel that enables a human being to do the impossible
To make the mothers feel extremely special and loved and to return them a little of all the love, reverence, and care they shower, MTIS celebrated Mother's Day with utmost passion and happiness. The Kindergarten students’ mothers were welcomed with special cards and messages and various performances were given by the students which touched everyone's heart to the depths. The honourable members of the management - Mrs Sandeep Kaur Ahluwalia, Mrs Mandeep Ahluwalia Pahwa and Mrs Tapinder Kaur graced the occasion with their gracious presence. The mothers also participated in various activities and finally, the winners were honoured with the title of Supermom by the esteemed members of the management. Principal, Mrs Sonia Sharma shared her valuable thoughts with the audience.
It was indeed a wonderful tribute from our MTIS students to their mothers to celebrate their unconditional love, compassion and affection.

LEGO FUN
The Mukat Trust International School believes that learning can be in any and every form.Students used *BricQ Motion - Lego sets* to foster an understanding of forces, motion, and interaction by getting easy hands-on learning experience without involving the need for digital technology. Students enjoyed and learned a lot while making working structures of bands on wheels, Zip lines at Work by studying the concept of balancing, friction, and gear management.

FIELD TRIP
Field trips provide students with experience of everyday activities outside the confines of school premises.
To give the students a break from the monotony of class classroom teaching, The Mukat Trust International School arranged a Field trip for students of grade VIII to the fields of Punjab to experience and gain knowledge about Crop production and cultivation.
Students acknowledged the importance of farmers and their hard work by becoming a part of their daily routine. They induced themselves in various activities like crop separation, plowing, seeding, and harvesting where they learned step-by-step cultivation processes. Students spent their day productively.
Seminars not only provide knowledge to the students directly from industry experts but also boost their morale*
A week long seminar has been organised for the students of The Mukat Trust International School, the very first day of which began with the introduction to MUN(Model United Nations) which is a simulation of the United Nations that provides the opportunity to the students to take on the role of diplomats and engage in discussions and debates on vital issues.
The session was taken up by Mr Puneet, a commendable educationist from Mumbai who not only shared some important tips with the MTIS students to improve their spoken skills but also conducted a mock session wherein the students took the role of delegates and debated on the given issue. Overall, it was an insightful and enriching session for the students.

India is a land of many cultures which blend into each other seamlessly. Each region has its own unique way of celebrating New Year,usually when the crops are harvested. In Punjab, this day is celebrated as BAISAKHI.
To give an insight of this day, the students of MTIS presented a colorful and informative assembly which included an energetic Choreography , speeches about Baisakhi and a melodious song on harvest.
Principal Ms Sonia Sharma shared her valuable thoughts and wished all the students. The entire school premises reverberated with zeal and energy.
VISIT TO GURUDWARA

The school organized a visit to Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadur sahib ji, Khadoli on 11 April,23 for the students to commemorate the birth anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. The students followed the tradition and accordingly covered their heads, and washed their hands and feet before entering the Gurudwara Sahib.
They paid due respect to the holy ‘Guru Granth Sahib ji’ as they bowed and did parikrama. They also relished ‘Kada Prasad’ .A short and pious journey ended with a smile and a sense of calmness on every learner’s face where they learned that they must respect all religions.
