The students also participated in the Langar, a community meal that is served to all visitors without distinction of religion, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity, promoting the concept of equality that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji stood for.
Receiving 'Prasad' was another cherished moment for the students, symbolizing the blessings of the divine. They also engaged with community members, learning about the importance of selfless service or ‘seva’, which is a cornerstone of Sikhism.
We returned with our hearts full of peace, our minds enriched with history, and our spirits uplifted by the blessings received. This visit has undoubtedly sown seeds of love, respect, and understanding in our young learners, guiding them to become compassionate global citizens.
Let us carry forward the light of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji's teachings in our lives, striving for a world where peace and love flourish.
